Be Kind!

Dear Te Pihinga Families. As we head into the end of Term 3 we are getting lots of 'squabbles', amongst our students. Our daily message to our class members is to be KIND. Respect each other and show manaakitanga, which means to show respect, generosity and care for others. At this age, our learners move from the egocentric bubble they are have been in, and they really start to analyse their peers. This analysis leads to new friendship groups being formed, based on who they want to play, interact and spend quality time with. It is a journey for our learners and these relationships can change daily. Please take the time to TALK with your kids, guide them in their decision making and remind them to always be KIND. Ngā mihi Wendy and Lyndon.
