Creativity.... Collaboration... Choice...

In Te Pihinga Mrs Mills and Mrs Parkes are not the only teachers.  We can all learn from each other in a variety of ways.  We all take on the roles of learners and teachers very seriously in Te Pihinga, as you can see in these pictures.

Swimming in Te Pihinga

We are sad to say that swimming lessons in Te Pihinga are coming to an end this week.
We have had the most amazing summer and our learners have loved swimming daily.
This year our students worked towards their own goals.
Some were perfecting floating on their back and front.
Some were working on freestyle.
Some were working on diving from a sitting position.
Some were working on making sure they put all their belongings back into their bags independently!
All tried their best.
From next Monday 19th March swimming gear no longer needs to come to school.
A massive thank you to our SFRC for creating fundraising activities to enable us to have a pool.
Nga Mihi.
